About The Culinary Princess

Being a princess is empowering, inspiring, and fulfilling. Princesses follow their dreams, chase after their hopes and through it all maintain their faith in God and His plan. Being a princess is about spoiling yourself a bit, indulging in the richness of the Kingdom, taking pleasure in beautiful moments and reigning supremely over your realm. Unlike the princesses of old, the modern princess holds court in boardrooms, doctor's offices and studio sets. We excel in everything we do and realize that God made us extraordinary for a reason. Being a princess is about courage, dignity and duty; it is about fun, passion and joy!

I have always been a Princess. The areas of my reign have changed, but I have remained true to myself through each stage. After I lost my traditional corporate job, I took some time to figure out what I really wanted to do "when I grow up.” I concluded that it was time to let go and let God. God led me away from fear and towards my passions. Now a student of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, I begin to reign anew as The Culinary Princess. Join me as my new adventures begin!

My realm stretches from corporate to culinary. My court is the kitchen. I am Aleya Desné: The Culinary Princess.

I am a proud member of the first African-American Sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Eta Lambda Omega Chapter.  A big Skee-Wee to all of my oh so pretty AKA Sorors!
